Rieveley Ceramics produces tiles for special commissions and for restoration work. Using different clays, glazes and various decorative techniques, we aim to precisely match original tiling.
We have made tiles for floors and walls, for fireplaces and surrounds, also special one off commemorative pieces. If you have an idea, we can make a tile or series of tiles to match, as well as offering advice and help in design.
We started in 1978 manufacturing ceramics and since that time have built up a comprehensive knowledge of the techniques used in the different methods of tile making. We were approached by the Faenol Estate to provide replicas of 19th century tiling for a restoration project and following its successful completion further enquiries followed. In 1998 we discontinued our general manufacturing to concentrate on tiling restoration and conservation.
